I usually dry my eyes with a dark colored wash cloth, you know, just in case I still have eye makeup on. (I don't like to get it on our white towels.)
I grab the brown wash cloth and guess what crawls out of it, onto my face then down my body?
As I screamed?
A cockroach.
We haven't had a cockroach in our house for quite sometime. 'Tis time to be fumigated again.

I've lived here a long time and this is simply one of the worst stories EVER. I am 100% sympathetic...this beats out the tarantula crawling across Max's foot while using the restroom, the giant crab trying to crawl into Alfonso's mouth during a beach camp out, and Chloe finding the rattlesnake in the front yard. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Dri...these fine examples of Mexican wildlife at its best ONLY occur if you are a resident. We love tourists...come and visit (just don't shower at k's house).

I was so paranoid to use my wash cloth this morning. I kept reading this post in my head as I turned my wash cloth over and over, looking for bugs!
OK, as I'm reading this just before bedtime....I am going to have nightmares. Not just about cockroaches crawling out of washcloths, but of tarantulas!
